Kevin Holland is wasting no time getting back into action, as he is set to face veteran Gunnar Nelson at UFC London on March 22. This bout comes just two months after Holland suffered his tenth UFC loss, falling to Reinier de Ridder via submission at UFC 311 in January.
Quick Turnaround for Kevin Holland After UFC 311 Defeat
Holland, known for his willingness to fight frequently, has stepped into the Octagon 24 times since his UFC debut in August 2018. However, recent results have not been in his favor, with only one victory in his last five outings, including notable defeats to Jack Della Maddalena and Michael Page.
Meanwhile, Nelson returns after nearly two years away from competition. His last appearance saw him submit Bryan Barberena at UFC London in March 2023. The Icelandic grappler, a longtime training partner of Conor McGregor, has been a staple of the UFC since 2012, winning ten of his 15 fights in the promotion. He previously faced current UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards in 2019, losing via split decision.
