The announcement came through an explosive post on X (formerly Twitter), where Tate boldly claimed he’s now running the show and will even fight Chase DeMoor in Dubai on December 20.
But here’s where it gets even wilder Tate is taking over from KSI himself. According to Misfits promoter Mams Taylor, the decision came after a “board meeting” where he accused KSI of nearly sinking the company because of his long absences.
“Andrew Tate is the new CEO of Misfits Boxing,” Taylor said on social media, calling it a move that would bring the brand “back to life.”
Tate, never one to keep things quiet, jumped in to confirm the news, calling it “a planned move, not a hostile takeover.”
“I’m the biggest name on the planet. Taking over Misfits is just good business,” Tate said with his usual confidence.
It didn’t take long for KSI to respond and he went nuclear. The YouTube star-turned-boxer, who helped create Misfits Boxing in 2022, exploded on X shortly after the announcement.
“WHAT THE ACTUAL F*** IS GOING ON?” KSI wrote, before calling the situation “the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.”
He also took a shot at Mams Taylor, accusing him of focusing on “publicity over professionalism.”
Within hours, the post went viral over a million views, countless memes, and fans trying to figure out if any of this was actually serious.
A Stunt or a Power Move?
So, what’s really going on here? Because, let’s be honest, this whole thing feels scripted.
Online users were quick to call it out, comparing the Tate–KSI feud to something straight out of the WWE playbook. One comment summed it up perfectly: “Nobody’s falling for this WWE storyline, bruh.”
