The UFC has officially unveiled the fight card for UFC 330, with two championship bouts set to headline one of the promotion’s biggest events of the year.

Scheduled for August 15 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, the event will feature newly crowned welterweight champion Islam Makhachev defending his title for the first time against top ranked contender Ian Machado Garry. The co main event will see strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern make her first title defense against Canada’s Gillian Robertson.

Alongside the two title fights, UFC 330 features a stacked lineup filled with ranked contenders, seasoned veterans and rising prospects across multiple divisions.

Islam Makhachev begins his welterweight title reign

After establishing himself as one of the greatest lightweights in UFC history, Makhachev now begins a new chapter as welterweight champion.

The Dagestani star captured the 170 pound title with an impressive victory over Jack Della Maddalena, becoming a rare two division UFC champion. Now he returns to defend his latest championship against one of the fastest rising names in the division.

Makhachev enters the contest with a remarkable résumé that includes victories over Alexander Volkanovski, Charles Oliveira and Della Maddalena. His combination of elite grappling, relentless pressure and improving striking has made him one of the most complete fighters in the sport.

A successful title defense would strengthen his growing legacy while proving he belongs among the elite at welterweight.

Ian Machado Garry gets the opportunity of a lifetime

Standing across from Makhachev will be Ian Machado Garry, who has quietly built an impressive run toward his first UFC title opportunity.

The Irish contender enters UFC 330 riding a three fight winning streak, having defeated Belal Muhammad, Carlos Prates and Michael Page. Those performances cemented his place as the number one contender and earned him a chance to compete for UFC gold.

Known for his technical striking, movement and confidence inside the Octagon, Garry faces the biggest challenge of his professional career.

A victory over Makhachev would instantly reshape the welterweight division and establish him as one of the UFC’s newest champions.

Mackenzie Dern returns as champion

The co main event also carries significant championship implications.

Fresh off winning the strawweight title, Mackenzie Dern returns for the first defense of her reign against veteran contender Gillian Robertson.

Dern has spent years climbing through one of the UFC’s most competitive women’s divisions. Wins over Virna Jandiroba, Amanda Ribas and Loopy Godinez helped position her for a championship opportunity, which she successfully converted.

Now the Brazilian looks to prove her reign is only beginning.

Across the cage, Robertson enters with momentum of her own. The Canadian veteran has earned victories over respected contenders including Amanda Lemos, Marina Rodriguez and Luana Pinheiro.

Capturing the title would mark the biggest achievement of Robertson’s UFC career.

Strong supporting card adds depth

While the championship fights headline the event, UFC 330 also features several intriguing matchups throughout the card.

Former lightweight contender Jalin Turner returns to action against Brazil’s Kauê Fernandes, while longtime welterweight veteran Neil Magny meets Ramiz Brahimaj.

Another all action welterweight contest sees Geoff Neal take on Chidi Njokuani, with both fighters known for their knockout power.

Middleweight prospect Mansur Abdul Malik continues his rise against Dustin Stoltzfus, while Philadelphia native Jeremiah Wells receives a homecoming bout against Myktybek Orolbai.

Elsewhere, Vicente Luque moves up to middleweight to face Tresean Gore, Edson Barboza squares off against Esteban Ribovics in a lightweight contest and women’s flyweight contenders Erin Blanchfield and Jasmine Jasudavicius meet in a bout with major ranking implications.

Philadelphia prepares for a major UFC event

The UFC has assembled one of its strongest fight cards of the summer by combining championship fights with meaningful matchups across several divisions.

Makhachev’s first welterweight title defense headlines the event, while Garry attempts to complete one of the biggest upsets of the year. Dern and Robertson will battle for strawweight gold, and several established names will look to move closer to title contention.

With two championship bouts and a lineup featuring proven veterans alongside rising contenders, UFC 330 is shaping up to be one of the promotion’s most significant events of 2026.
