UFC 330 delivered a historic night inside Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena, with Islam Makhachev not only defending his welterweight championship but also collecting the largest reported payout on the card.

Makhachev defeated Ian Machado Garry by unanimous decision on August 15, extending his UFC winning streak to 17 fights and moving past Anderson Silva for the longest winning streak in UFC history.

According to figures published by GiveMeSport and BetMGM, Makhachev earned an estimated $4.14 million from the event. Garry reportedly received $2.061 million, while Mackenzie Dern collected an estimated $1.64 million after successfully defending her UFC strawweight title against Gillian Robertson.

The figures are estimates rather than officially disclosed UFC salaries, as the promotion no longer publicly releases complete fighter purses.

Islam Makhachev leads UFC 330 earnings

Makhachev entered UFC 330 as one of the biggest stars on the UFC roster, and his reported earnings reflected his position at the top of the promotion.

The Russian champion reportedly earned $4,140,000, making him the highest paid fighter on the Philadelphia card.

His victory over Garry also delivered another major milestone. Makhachev became the first fighter in UFC history to reach 17 consecutive victories, breaking his tie with Anderson Silva.

He also became the fifth fighter to successfully defend UFC titles in two weight classes, joining Daniel Cormier, Henry Cejudo, Amanda Nunes and Jon Jones.

Makhachev’s reported payout was more than double Garry’s earnings and represented the biggest figure among all 24 fighters competing at UFC 330.

Ian Machado Garry earns over $2 million

Despite losing his first UFC title fight, Ian Machado Garry reportedly earned $2,061,000 for the main event.

That made the Irishman the second highest paid fighter on the card and gave him a significant payday for his first UFC championship opportunity.

Garry pushed Makhachev through five rounds and had several strong moments during the contest. His striking and takedown defense allowed him to remain competitive, although Makhachev ultimately secured the unanimous decision.

After the fight, Garry remained respectful toward the champion.

“I have nothing but respect for Islam. He won. I have no complaints, no excuses,” Garry said.

The reported $2.061 million payout is also significant because Garry entered the fight as a challenger rather than the reigning champion.

Mackenzie Dern takes home $1.64 million

The second title fight on the card also produced a seven figure payday.

Mackenzie Dern reportedly earned $1,640,000 for defeating Gillian Robertson and successfully defending her UFC strawweight championship for the first time.

Robertson reportedly earned $875,000, giving both fighters substantial payouts for the five round championship contest.

Dern controlled much of the fight with her grappling and submission attempts before earning the unanimous decision. The victory also moved her to 12 UFC wins at strawweight, second only to Angela Hill’s 13.

Neil Magny and Vicente Luque among highest earners

Neil Magny was another major earner at UFC 330, with an estimated payout of $621,000 for his victory over Ramiz Brahimaj.

Magny’s reported earnings came alongside another record for the veteran welterweight. He now has 25 UFC victories, tying Charles Oliveira for second most in company history behind Jim Miller’s 28.

Vicente Luque reportedly earned $521,000 despite suffering a decision loss to Tresean Gore.

Jalin Turner also collected a significant payday. The lightweight reportedly earned $465,000 after stopping Kaue Fernandes in just 39 seconds.

Turner’s victory was particularly impressive because all 16 of his professional victories have now come by stoppage.

Edson Barboza earns $421,000 despite another defeat

Veteran Edson Barboza reportedly earned $421,000 for his fight against Esteban Ribovics.

Barboza suffered a fourth consecutive defeat after Ribovics stopped him, extending the longest losing streak of his professional career.

Despite the result, Barboza remained one of the highest paid fighters on the UFC 330 roster based on the reported figures.

Ribovics, meanwhile, reportedly earned $280,000 for the victory.

Charles Johnson earns $415,000 for rare submission

Charles Johnson reportedly earned $415,000 after producing one of the most unusual finishes of the night.

Johnson submitted Eduardo Chapolin with a Twister, becoming only the fifth fighter in UFC history to secure a Twister submission.

His reported payout was also among the highest on the card outside the championship fights.

Jeremiah Wells also enjoyed a strong night financially, earning an estimated $276,000 after defeating Myktybek Orolbai by technical submission.

Makhachev’s estimated $4.14 million was approximately 172.5 times the $24,000 reportedly earned by Rafael Tobias.

The figures highlight the huge financial gap between established UFC champions and fighters still building their position on the roster.

UFC 330 also featured $327,000 in Promotional Guidelines Compliance payments, while Jalin Turner, Dustin Stoltzfus, Charles Johnson and Jeremiah Wells each received $100,000 fight night bonuses.

Ultimately, Makhachev left Philadelphia with both the welterweight championship and the largest reported payday of UFC 330. His historic victory over Garry made him the promotion’s record holder for consecutive wins, while the reported $4.14 million payout underlined his status as one of the UFC’s biggest stars.
